Light Maryland Pink
Since its inception in 2009, the Light Maryland Pink campaign has successfully spread the message of breast cancer awareness throughout the state of Maryland. Komen Maryland has reached out to Maryland counties, businesses, and landmarks and the response was overwhelming. A number of businesses, landmarks, and county buildings will be lit pink during October. Additionally, some counties have issued proclamations in support of Komen Maryland and Breast Cancer Awareness month. Komen Maryland is grateful for the support of these participants as we continue to work towards a world without breast cancer.
